home info contact Junior Strings is a group for younger string players which performs arrangements of music by composers such as Bach and Handel. Manukau Courier Members range in age from 7 to 12 years and have in general have all had 1 to 3 years of tuition. It provides members with the oportunities to learn orchestral skills, improve their playing and learn new instruments such as Viola. The orchestra rehearses on Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm at Kedgley Intermediate School, Papatoetoe and performs a concert at the end of the year.
